AMCI¹ ran a 0 – 60 mph acceleration test that pitted the All-New 2021 Sorento Turbo HEV against the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo X. Acceleration was performed from a dead stop, with no "rollout."

The results? Despite the difference in horsepower, the All-New 2021 Sorento HEV clocked in at just 7.7 seconds — only 0.2 seconds short of the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo X (7.5 seconds).
