SUBJECT:  IQS QUICK TIP #20 – Visor Card and Volume Tips

Did you know that many of your 2021 MY vehicles will have a card inserted on the driver’s side sun visor clip which includes volume tips and links to technology resources?

The volume tips include:

• The audio system will retain the volume level for each audio mode. When the mode is changed, the volume level will revert to the previously set volume for that mode.
• When switching between audio modes (AM, FM, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, etc.), the audio system saves the previous volume level from when you were last listening to that audio mode.
• When using Bluetooth audio, the overall volume may be dependent on the mobile device volume. Turn the volume up on your mobile device if the volume seems too low.
• When the vehicle is put in Reverse, the audio system volume may be automatically lowered to help minimize driver distraction.

It is helpful to understand these volume tips to better answer customer questions during the perfect delivery.
