According to a 2020 Consumer Reports survey, 71% of drivers in America have at least some interest in electric vehicles —and 31% saying they would consider getting, or would definitely get, an EV the next time they purchase a vehicle.1
Kia engineers are developing innovative electric vehicles with expanded driving ranges, the latest charging technologies, and improved performance.
INNOVATIONS TAKE CENTER STAGE
Another advantage for Kia EVs is the inclusion of Kia Drive Wise* technologies, some of which can offer different levels of autonomous driving.
The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)2 classifies autonomous driving technologies into six categories based on the advancement level, from 0 (no automation) to 5 (full automation).
For example, our Highway Driving Assist* (HDA) technology is a Level 2 autonomous driving system (partial automation).
When driving on the highway, HDA* maintains the set speed and uses the front camera to collect lane data for steering control.
