SUBJECT: IQS Quick Tip #19 – Navigation (UVO Link with Navigation – Wide Embedded) on 20 MY Soul and Telluride

The UVO Link with Navigation – Wide Embedded system is the latest generation navigation and it can be found on some trims of the 20 MY Telluride and Soul. It can be easily identified by the 10.25” HD Touchscreen and a new feature on this system is dual bluetooth audio source support. To ensure the perfect delivery review the features and functions available on this system with the customer.
Some of the functionality highlights to note in this system include:
HD Radio Data
This infotainment system uses HD Radio Data for all data services. This is a complimentary service for our customers and does not require a subscription. Support for this feature is limited to areas with HD Radio Data coverage.
Bluetooth Multi-connection:
This navigation system allows for 2 phones to be connected simultaneously. With two phones connected, one of the phones will support both Bluetooth calls and Bluetooth audio, while the other phone will support Bluetooth audio only. When pairing a phone you can select which functions you want to enable though the pop up menu.
Once two phones are paired, a user will be able to access the Bluetooth Connections screen to determine which device has Bluetooth hands free calling enabled. The phone with Bluetooth hands free calling will be highlighted in blue.
On the Bluetooth Audio Screen, use the buttons on the top to switch from one Bluetooth device to the other.
Split Screen:
The spilt screen function on the navigation is available on all the screens except the home screen and allows the system to display multiple functions at once:
- Maps
- Audio/Radio
- Weather
- Time
- Driving Info
- Compass
Only one widget can be displayed on the split screen at a time. To activate the split screen function, press the tab shown below on the right.
Press and swipe up or down to cycle through the various split screen options.
