EV6’s standard Kia Connect* system is designed to change the way customers interact with their new electric vehicles. Kia Connect* and the companion Kia Access* app offer features specifically designed for EVs, such as remote* commands to help simplify the charging process and map guidance when needing to locate nearby charging stations. It is essential to cover these features with your customers to explain the value of Kia Connect* when it comes to their new EV6 and the EV ownership experience. Remote* Charge & Stop Charge
Once the EV6 is plugged in to charge, the Kia Access* app can start or stop charging, keeping the customer in control. Customers can also access this feature online via the Kia Owner’s Portal.
Charging Status Control
Customers can check the latest charging status of their vehicle by sending remote* commands through the Kia Access* app, allowing them to stay updated on their EV6’s charge level without having to go to their vehicle to check. Customers can also setup notifications so that they are automatically updated as the vehicle charges.
Charge Schedules
The EV6 can be scheduled to charge at specific dates and times, with an option for the schedule to repeat automatically. This feature can also help customers potentially save money by scheduling their EV6 to charge during off-peak hours when electric rates are lower.
Find Charging Stations
When customers are on the go, they can use Kia Connect* to find nearby charging stations quickly and easily. By simply touching the “Nearby Stations” icon on the head unit or by tapping the button in the Kia Access* app, customers can get real-time information on nearby locations. Customers can also explore nearby charging stations on the Kia Owner’s Portal when not driving.
Customers with compatible devices can use the Kia Access* smartwatch companion app to view detailed vehicle information about their EV, access select features, and issue remote* commands, such as locating and unlocking/locking their vehicle.

Kia Connect: Purchase/lease of certain 2022 and newer Kia vehicles with Kia Connect includes a complimentary 1-year subscription starting from new vehicle retail sale/lease date as recorded by the dealer. After your complimentary 1-year Kia Connect subscription expires, continued access to the full suite of Kia Connect services available on your Kia will require a paid subscription at the then-current subscription rate or your use of certain Kia Connect features may immediately terminate.
