Below is an excerpt from the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Reference Guide. Continuing this week, Kia University wants you to get comfortable with ADAS technology that can aid visibility while driving for your customers.

HIGH BEAM ASSIST* (HBA)
Can automatically switch the headlights to low-beam when an oncoming vehicle or leading vehicle is detected. It can switch back to high beams when it no longer detects such vehicles.

LOW BEAM ASSIST-DYNAMIC* (LBA-D)
Headlights that turn in the direction of steering. This moves the headlight beam toward an upcoming turn to help improve cornering visibility.
