FUNCTIONALITY AND CUSTOMIZATION
All Seltos are equipped with a helpful auto door locking system to better secure second-row occupants. The system can be controlled through the driver user setting and has two main options:
- Enable Based on Speed (10 mph)
- Enable on Shift from Park (P)
After certain conditions are met, Vehicle Auto-Shut Off will display a "countdown" pop-up on the instrument cluster stating the “Vehicle will be turned off automatically in: 30 minutes” followed by a beep.
A second, continuous beep starts one minute before the vehicle shuts off. The timer can be reset after selecting OK.
Default Mode: ON (Drivers may disable ISG by pressing the disable button on the dash console.)
If the Smart Key is in the vehicle and any door is open, the doors will not lock when the door lock button of central door lock switch is pressed.
SELTOS ADAS FUNCTIONALITY
SEA can alert the driver or passengers opening their door to not exit the vehicle when the system detects approaching traffic. When detected, a chime sounds.
ROA is designed to provide a message in the instrument cluster for the driver to “check rear seats” in order to help prevent leaving the vehicle with a rear passenger left inside; the message appears when the driver door is opened after a rear passenger door had been opened and closed.
Default Mode: ON (Driver may deactivate if desired.)
Builds on Lane Departure Warning by applying slight steering inputs in certain circumstances to help bring the vehicle back into the lane.
Default Mode: OFF (Driver must activate by pressing the “Steering Wheel” icon on the steering wheel.)
Builds on Lane Keeping Assist and Smart Cruise Control. It can follow lane markings that the system detects and can provide steering inputs to help maintain the vehicle along the lane.
