ADDITION OF EV/PHEV VEHICLES TO THE KIA ACCESS WITH UVO link* APP*

The new Kia Access with UVO link* app*, which replaces the UVO link* app*, has successfully launched. UVO eco users will eventually need to switch over to the new app*. This involves owners of Soul EV, Optima PHEV, and Niro PHEV. The UVO eco app* will become inactive in the summer of 2019.

2019 NIRO EV CHARGING SCHEDULES

Encourage 2019 Niro EV customers to set charging schedules with their daily departure times in mind. For example, if the customer wants to leave their house at 7 AM, the vehicle should probably be plugged in the night before.

Customers should keep the following considerations in mind when selecting a charging schedule:

• There are two charging schedules – one can be a morning charge and the other can be an afternoon charge
• There is one temperature setting for both departure schedules
• Customers have the option of selecting off-peak time windows for charging times
• Customers also have the option of selecting charging only during off-peak time, or prioritizing charging during off-peak time
