During the perfect delivery, be sure to show customers how to correctly use the wireless charger if their vehicle is equipped with this feature.

NOTE: A Qi compatible mobile phone or a Qi compatible phone case (if the phone is not compatible) is required.

Example, phones that are Qi compatible (and don’t need a Qi compatible case or accessory) include Apple^®* iPhone 8 and newer, and Samsung^®* S7 and newer devices. Depending on the Kia vehicle, the phone will lay flat on the charging pad or fit into the charging port as seen below:

Steps include:

• Place the phone on the center of the charging pad

• Ensure the vehicle is “on” and all the doors are closed for wireless charging to be available

• The indicator near the vehicle charger will be “amber” in color when the phone is charging. Depending on the phone, you may see “green” indicator once charging is complete.

  Note: The indicator changing to “green” when fully charged is dependent upon the phone used. In some cases, the indicator may stay amber even when fully charged.

• Some phones will not charge wirelessly when connected to the USB.

• Phone case thickness may impact the charge rate.

• Avoid placing coins, credit cards, paper clips, pens, jewelry, and other objects on the charging pad while charging
