Delivering a great customer experience in the F&I office will help improve the time your customer spends waiting to drive their new vehicle home and earn you repeat and referral business.
Here are some best practices to speed up and improve the sales experience while in F&I:
- Introduce the Finance Manager early in the sales process
- Explain the purpose of the F&I meeting
- Set expectations on the time it may take in F&I
- If there is a wait for F&I, fill the customer’s time with information on their vehicle, going over the maintenance schedule, and introducing the customer to the Service Manager
